The brand serves style-conscious customers who value beauty, purpose, and understated elegance, and continues to grow its presence in the contemporary modest fashion space.Role Description The Mid Senior Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking. The role involves preparing and reviewing financial statements, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and local regulations. The Mid Senior Accountant will collaborate with internal teams to provide financial insights, support cost control initiatives, and assist in inventory and revenue reporting for WOROOD’s fashion collections. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Cairo, requiring close coordination with the finance and operations teams.Qualifications Strong financial accounting skills, including general ledger management, reconciliations, and preparation of financial statements.Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support decision-making and cost control.Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, along with solid Excel skills for reporting and data analysis.Knowledge of local tax regulations, financial compliance requirements, and internal control best practices.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is an advantage.Several years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in retail, fashion, or consumer goods.Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work on-site in New Cairo and partner with cross-functional teams.
