Middle Backend Engineer

Role Overview:We are looking for a skilled Backend Engineer to join a fast-growing tech platform. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, scalable backend services and core microservices architecture. You will collaborate closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and QA to build reliable systems powering financial services.Key Responsibilities:Design, build, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and secure backend microservicesDevelop, optimize, and maintain RESTful APIs and gRPC services for web and mobile platformsDesign and optimize database schemas (SQL & NoSQL) for maximum scalability and query efficiencyDebug production issues, conduct load testing, and optimize application latency and throughputWork closely with Frontend Engineers, Product Managers, and QA to define feature specs and deliver end-to-end tech solutionsParticipate in code reviews, write comprehensive unit/integration tests, and adhere to clean architecture principlesKey Requirements:3+ years of hands-on professional experience in backend development. (Experience in the Fintech industry is MANDATORY)Strong proficiency in backend languages and frameworks such as Go (Golang) and PHP (Yii2)Solid understanding of microservices architecture, RESTful API design, and event-driven architectures (Kafka / RabbitMQ)Hands-on experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL / MySQL) and NoSQL/Caching technologies (Redis, MongoDB)Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud platforms (GCP / AWS)Excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication, and a collaborative mindset
