About the Role:SAIS is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Middle School Science Teacher to join our dynamic faculty. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction in physics, Chemistry or Biology, fostering a positive learning environment, and preparing students for both academic and real-world success. This position requires a passion for science education, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to student growth and achievement.Responsibilities:Develop and implement engaging science lesson plans that meet American curriculum standards.Utilize a variety of teaching methods and instructional resources to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.Assess student performance through exams, reports, and other evaluation methods, providing timely and constructive feedback.Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment, ensuring all safety protocols are followed during experiments.Foster a positive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and scientific inquiry.Collaborate with other science department members to align curriculum and share best practices.Communicate regularly with students, parents, and school administration regarding student progress and any concerns.Participate in school-related activities, such as parent-teacher conferences, extracurricular clubs, and school events.
