The Midwife will provide comprehensive, compassionate care to patients during pregnancy, labor, birth, and the postpartum period, following established clinical protocols and best practices. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting antenatal assessments, monitoring maternal and fetal well-being, supporting safe childbirth, administering appropriate medications and interventions within the scope of practice, and collaborating with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals. The role also involves educating patients and families on birth plans, newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery, while maintaining accurate clinical documentation and ensuring adherence to hospital policies and regulatory standards. The Midwife is expected to participate in quality improvement activities and uphold a culture of safety, respect, and dignity for all patients.Qualifications Demonstrated expertise in maternity care, including antenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum support.Strong midwifery skills covering assessment, labor management, birth assistance, and postnatal care.Clinical knowledge of childbirth processes and related medical procedures and guidelines.Experience supporting lactation and breastfeeding, including patient education and practical guidance.Valid midwifery qualification and professional registration as required by UAE regulatory authorities.Previous hospital or clinical experience in obstetrics, women’s health, or neonatal care is highly beneficial.Ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.Commitment to evidence-based practice, patient safety, confidentiality, and culturally sensitive care.Willingness to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed for continuous patient care.
