This is a full-time, in-office position for a professional with proven experience managing visa applications and client portfolios.As a Migration Visa Consultant, you will be responsible for preparing visa applications, and managing cases from initial consultation through to submission for clients in Australia. You will work closely with our legal team to ensure all applications meet the highest standards of accuracy, compliance, and client service.This role is contracted through LAB360, our strategic LPO partner in Sri Lanka supporting MJ Legal’s Operation.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare visa applications with accuracy and attention to detail.⁠Manage a portfolio of client matters from consultation to application submission. ⁠Draft supporting documentation, submissions, and correspondence. ⁠Liaise with clients and relevant immigration authorities regarding ongoing matters.⁠Maintain accurate case records and ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.⁠Work collaboratively with the legal team to achieve successful client outcomes.Requirements1-2 years' experience as a Visa Consultant or Migration Agent handling real client cases.⁠Bachelor's Degree in Management or a related field.Proven experience handling Student and Migration visa applications for the United Kingdom, Canada, the United States, and Australia.Experience in the Australian Skilled Migration program is a definite advantageExcellent written and verbal English communication skills with a high level of accuracy.⁠Strong attention to detail, ethical standards, and commitment to compliance.⁠Ability to manage an independent caseload, prioritize work effectively, and consistently meet deadlines.⁠Strong interpersonal and client relationship management skills.Why Join MJ LegalBe part of a law firm specializing in Australian immigration law.Work alongside experienced migration lawyers and professionals.Join a collaborative, supportive, and high-performing team.Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement.Work with bespoke AI tools and be at the forefront of legal technology and innovation.Attractive remuneration packagesHow to ApplyIf you meet the above requirements and are looking to advance your career in migration services, we'd love to hear from you!
