MIS Executive- Finance & Investment

Job SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented MIS Executive – Finance & Investment to manage financial reporting, business analytics, budgeting, forecasting, and investment-related management information systems (MIS). The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating accurate financial insights, developing dashboards, monitoring key business metrics, and supporting strategic decision-making through data-driven analysis.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & MIS* Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual MIS reports.* Develop and maintain management dashboards and financial reports.* Analyse Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Statements.* Generate revenue, profitability, and expense reports.* Ensure timely and accurate submission of all management reports.* Standardise reporting formats across departments.Budgeting & Financial Planning* Assist in annual budgeting and financial planning.* Prepare budget vs. actual variance reports.* Monitor departmental budgets and spending.* Support forecasting of revenue, expenses, and cash flow.* Identify financial trends and recommend corrective actions.Investment & Financial Analysis* Perform ROI, IRR, NPV, and cost-benefit analysis.* Prepare investment performance reports and financial models.* Support fundraising, investor reporting, and due diligence processes.* Analyze capital expenditure proposals and business expansion opportunities.* Assist management with strategic financial decision-making.Business Performance Analysis* Monitor business KPIs and operational performance.* Analyze product, category, and channel profitability.* Track revenue growth, margins, and operating costs.* Identify opportunities to improve profitability and operational efficiency.* Prepare executive summaries and business performance reports.Cash Flow & Working Capital* Prepare daily and monthly cash flow reports.* Monitor receivables, payables, and working capital.* Perform aging analysis and liquidity monitoring.* Support treasury planning and cash management activities.Data Management & Automation* Maintain accurate financial databases and MIS records.* Validate financial data received from multiple departments.* Automate reports using Excel, Power BI, and ERP systems.* Improve reporting efficiency and reduce manual processes.* Develop dashboards for real-time business insights.Required Skills* Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, Power Query, Macros)* Financial Modeling* Budgeting & Forecasting* Financial Analysis & Reporting* MIS Reporting* Power BI / Tableau* ERP Systems (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Tally, Zoho Books)* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills* Excellent communication and presentation skills* High attention to detail and organisational abilitiesQualifications* Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.* MBA (Finance), CA Inter, CMA* 2–5 years of experience in MIS, Finance, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), or Investment Reporting.Preferred Experience* Investor reporting and fundraising support* Financial planning and budgeting* Business performance analysis* Dashboard creation and financial visualisation* ERP implementation and reporting automation* Advanced Excel and Power BI reportingKey Performance Indicators (KPIs)* Accuracy and timeliness of MIS reports.* Quality of financial insights and reporting.* Dashboard efficiency and report automation.* Support for strategic business and investment decisions.* Data accuracy and compliance with reporting standards.
