MIS SpecialistThe opportunityAliens Tattoo is the most recognised name in premium tattooing in India — a ₹45 Cr brand with a credible line of sight to ₹500 Cr by 2030, built across three businesses: a premium studio network scaling from 14 to 100 locations, India's largest tattoo school, and a growing home-service line. That scale only works if the numbers keep up with it. Every studio, every school batch, every home-service booking throws off data — sales, expenses, receivables, payables, cash flow. Right now that data lives across Tally, spreadsheets and individual heads. As the business goes from 14 studios to 100, from one school to a national network, from a single home-service line to a growing one, the gap between what's happening on the ground and what leadership can see grows with it.We're looking for the person who closes that gap — who takes raw numbers from every part of the business and turns them into a report management can trust and act on, every single cycle, without being chased for it.The mandateYou will own the MIS layer of the business: the periodic reporting, the reconciliation between what the books say and what the reports say, and the dashboards that let the Accounts Manager and Director – Finance see the business clearly and on time. That means building and running the reporting calendar, keeping the underlying data in Tally/ERP clean enough to report from, and being the person who catches a variance before it reaches a management meeting instead of after. It also means supporting the budgeting and forecasting cycle, standing ready for audits with documentation that doesn't need to be reconstructed under pressure, and steadily making the reporting process itself faster and less manual. You will report to the Senior Accounts Manager / Director – Finance. What you'll be doingPreparing the numbers management runs on: daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly MIS covering sales, expenses, receivables, payables, cash flow and profitability, delivered on a schedule people can set their own work by.Reading the data before anyone else has to: flagging variances against budget or plan, spotting trends, and surfacing the two or three things in a report that actually need a decision — not just the full table.Turning that analysis into dashboards and management-review summaries that are consistent enough that no one has to relearn the format every quarter.Keeping the source data honest: maintaining financial records in Tally ERP/Prime or the relevant system (Zoho/Odoo), and reconciling MIS figures against the books regularly enough that discrepancies get caught before they go out in a report, not after.Supporting budgeting, forecasting and financial planning — building the working files, tracking actuals against plan, and helping the finance team see problems in the operating numbers early.Being the person other departments send their numbers to and the person finance sends its questions to — chasing inputs on time, and standing ready during audits with the supporting data, documentation and backups an auditor asks for, already on hand.Treating the reporting process itself as something to keep improving: tightening formats, cutting manual steps, and building toward more of this running on automation rather than on you. What we're looking forA B.Com, M.Com, BBA or MBA (Finance) or equivalent — a certification in Excel, MIS or data analysis is a genuine plus, not a checkbox.2–4 years in MIS reporting, accounts or finance operations. Time spent in retail, hospitality, services or another multi-location business is a real advantage — you'll recognise the mess that comes from many locations feeding one set of books.Real strength in MS Excel — Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS/COUNTIFS, basic charts, data validation — and working knowledge of Tally Prime or an equivalent ERP/CRM.An analytical, detail-oriented mind that's also process-minded: you'd rather fix the template than redo the same manual correction every month. The discipline to hit reporting deadlines without being reminded, the follow-through to chase other departments for their numbers without it becoming a fight, and the judgment to keep financial information confidential as a matter of course.Comfort with the pace of month-end and management-reporting periods, when the job asks for more hours and more precision at the same time.
