The intern will assist in developing and maintaining Android applications, including writing clean code, fixing bugs, and contributing to new features under the guidance of senior developers. Day-to-day responsibilities include collaborating with the product and design teams, testing app functionality, documenting work, and supporting integration with APIs and backend services. The intern will also participate in code reviews, learn best practices for mobile performance and security, and help ensure that applications deliver a smooth user experience. This role offers hands-on exposure to real-world projects and an opportunity to grow within a mobile development environment.Qualifications Candidates should possess foundational Android development skills, including experience with Kotlin or Java, Android Studio, and basic knowledge of Android SDK components.Candidates should possess skills in software engineering fundamentals, such as object-oriented programming, version control (e.g., Git), and understanding of RESTful APIs.Candidates should possess skills in problem-solving and debugging, including the ability to analyze issues, use logging and profiling tools, and optimize app performance.Candidates should possess skills in UI/UX implementation, including familiarity with Material Design guidelines, layouts, and responsive interface development.Candidates should possess strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a team, follow technical instructions, and document their work clearly.Enrollment in or completion of a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is highly beneficial.Prior project experience (academic or personal) in mobile apps, a portfolio on GitHub or similar platforms, and an interest in international job platforms and recruitment technology are advantageous.
