The role involves assisting in the development and maintenance of Android applications, including writing clean code, testing features, fixing bugs, and supporting app deployments. Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with senior developers to implement new functionality, optimizing app performance, and ensuring compatibility across multiple Android devices and OS versions. The role also includes participating in code reviews, documenting technical work, and working closely with product and design teams to deliver user-friendly mobile experiences.Qualifications Foundational knowledge of Android development, including familiarity with Java and/or Kotlin, Android SDK, and basic UI components.Understanding of mobile app architecture concepts such as activities, fragments, APIs, and data storage.Ability to work with version control tools (e.g., Git) and follow standard development workflows.Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn from feedback and mentorship.Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).Exposure to testing and debugging tools for Android and basic knowledge of publishing apps to Google Play is a plus.Interest in staying current with mobile development best practices and emerging Android technologies.
