Mobile App Engineer / Web Engineer

Role DescriptionWe are seeking a talented and innovative Mobile App Engineer / Web Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high-performance mobile and web applications that deliver outstanding user experiences and support business objectives. This role is responsible for developing scalable, secure, and reliable applications, integrating backend services, optimizing application performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate is passionate about modern technologies, clean code, and continuous improvement.Key responsibilities include:Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain mobile and web applications using modern development frameworks and best practices.Build responsive, user-friendly, and accessible web interfaces and high-performance mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms.Develop secure and scalable frontend and backend components that meet functional and technical requirements.Integrate applications with RESTful APIs, GraphQL services, databases, cloud platforms, and third-party systems.Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into efficient software solutions.Optimize application performance, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.Perform code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to resolve technical issues.Develop and maintain unit tests, integration tests, and automated testing processes to ensure software quality.Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, release management, and production support activities.Maintain technical documentation, coding standards, architecture documentation, and development guidelines.Ensure compliance with organizational security policies, privacy regulations, accessibility standards, and software engineering best practices.Evaluate emerging technologies, AI-assisted development tools, cloud-native solutions, and modern engineering practices.Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance software quality, development efficiency, and user experience.Mentor junior developers and share technical knowledge to promote engineering excellence where appropriate.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.Strong understanding of software engineering principles, object-oriented programming, algorithms, data structures, and application architecture.Proficiency in mobile development using Kotlin, Java, Swift, Objective-C, Flutter, or React Native.Strong knowledge of web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, Vue.js, or similar frameworks.Experience with backend development using Node.js, Java, C#, Python, PHP, Go, .NET, Spring Boot, Django, Laravel, Express.js, or similar technologies.Familiarity with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, microservices, authentication protocols, and system integration.Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MongoDB, Redis, or similar technologies.Experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab, or other version control systems.Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is an advantage.Knowledge of Firebase, mobile analytics, push notifications, and application performance monitoring tools is beneficial.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication abilities.Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple development tasks and priorities.Professional attitude with integrity, accountability, adaptability, and a continuous improvement mindset dedicated to delivering secure, scalable, high-quality mobile and web applications that drive business success.
