Position SummaryThe IT Field Solutions & MDM Role is responsible for architecting and managing Enterprise Mobile Device Management (Intune) solutions supporting Apple iOS (iPad/iPhone) and Windows environments for the Sales Force. This role leads desktop engineering, hardware/software deployment, field onboarding, and cross-functional collaboration across IT, HR, Sales Training, and external partners. The position drives Zero Touch deployment, automation of device configurations, and continuous improvement of IT processes to reduce operational costs and enhance field productivity.Key ResponsibilitiArchitect and manage the Enterprise MDM (Intune) platform for iOS and Field Windows Laptops, including Zero Touch, VPP, DEP, and Autopilot deployments, Apple Business ManagerLead day-to-day operations of the Sales Solutions, Desktop Engineering, and Mobile DENG departments.Drive end-to-end IT onboarding for field new hires, including hardware provisioning, training, and technical check-insManage Apple Business Manager, DEP administration, VPP licensing, and iOS upgrade testing for 70+ applicationsHP Hardware ManagementServe as technical lead for HP Equipment operations including onboarding, equipment sourcing, repair, replacement, and warranty management for non-DaaS equipmentMaintain hardware inventory, coordinate with vendors (CDW, Amazon, Gravity, Apple, Staples), and manage the master new hire equipment matrix by location, region, title, and business unitLead hardware refresh projects for laptops and iPads, business unit expansions, and new technology deploymentsCollaboration & Vendor ManagementServe as IT liaison to external vendors and partners (CDW, HP Depot, Apple Business Team, Biogen, Syneos) for problem resolution and system maintenanceLead Biogen federated configuration including Okta Org2Org federation, Veeva CRM architecture, and cross-company MDM integrationCoordinate with HR, Sales Training, IT Service Desk, Marketing, and field teams across multiple business unitsTraining, Documentation & SupportProvide on-site and off-site technical support for POA meetings, regional meetings, conventions (ASCO), and new hire onboarding sessionsDevelop and maintain 100+ support documents, runbooks, KBAs, and training materialsServe as L2/L3 escalation point for IT Service Desk tickets related to Sales Force IT, iPads, mobile devices, and applicationsSupport University learning platform (installation, iOS compatibility, SSO, database sync, and 4th Down coordination) Required Skills & QualificationsRequired TechnicalSkills - Microsoft Intune configuration, architecture, and MDM deployment experienceApple ecosystem expertise: Apple Business Manager, DEP, VPP, Xcode, KeyChain, Terminal, and iOS managementAzure Active Directory, GPO, Okta SSO/MFA, and Cloud App SecurityWindows 11 desktop deployment, SCCM, Windows Autopilot, and image creation tools (MDT, WinPE, PXE)Scripting languages: PowerShell, VBS, Perl, Batch ScriptingMicrosoft O365, OneDrive, Teams, and ZoomKnowledge of virtualization platforms (Cloud PC) and hardwareQualifications & Experience5+ years of experience in IT field support, desktop engineering, or mobile device managementProven ability to lead cross-functional IT projects and manage external vendor relationshipsStrong communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholdersExperience supporting pharmaceutical or life sciences sales force environments preferredExperience with Veeva CRM, Okta federation (Org2Org), and partner IT integrations preferredHands-on experience troubleshooting moderate-to-high complexity hardware and software issuesAbility to multitask across multiple business units, projects, and stakeholder groups simultaneously Tools & Technology ProficiencyMDM & Device ManagementMicrosoft Intune (configuration, architecture, app deployment, compliance policies)SCCM (software packaging, GPO assignments, client health monitoring)Windows Autopilot, MDTAppleEcosystem Apple Business Manager / Device Enrollment Program (DEP)Apple Volume Purchase Program (VPP), Xcode, KeyChain, TerminaliOS / iPadOS, macOS, Apple Developer PortalIdentity & amp; SecurityAzure Active Directory, Group Policy Objects (GPO)Okta (SSO, MFA, Org2Org Federation, Okta Verify, Okta Mobile)Microsoft Cloud App SecurityCollaboration & Productivity Microsoft O365, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, BoxBusiness Applications Veeva CRM (Biogen instance, Veeva Align, Veeva Network)Scripting & OSPowerShell, VBS, Perl, Batch Scripting Windows 11, macOS, iOS, AndroidVMware, Hyper-V, VirtualBox, BIOS/UEFI
