Mobile Application Developer

Datum Technologies Group is looking for a Mobile Application Developer skillset to join a highly innovative team that is building brand new, mission-critical software for payments.Key Responsibilities:Lead or oversee complex mobile projects while ensuring adherence to development standards and business objectives.Develop work plans, meet deadlines, and coordinate resources to deliver projects successfully.Solve complex technical problems and act as a key decision-maker in mobile solution design.Partner with cross-functional teams and external collaborators to drive successful project outcomes.Identify process improvements and promote continuous enhancement across mobile development practices.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).At least 8 years of experience in software development.Minimum 6 years of experience developing and implementing mobile applications.Minimum 7 years working on full software development life cycles (SDLC).Must-Have Skills:7+ years of professional iOS development experience using Swift or Objective‐C.2+ years of Android development experience using Kotlin or Java.2+ years of experience writing automated UI tests using XCUITest or Espresso.3+ years of experience managing signing assets, build configurations, and tools like Fastlane or Xcode schemes.3+ years integrating third‐party SDKs or libraries.3+ years integrating and consuming APIs or web services.Experience with Git-based workflows, pull request reviews, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.Experience supporting application releases, app store submission processes, production issue resolution, and release readiness activities.Strong collaboration skills across Product, Design, QA, API, Web, Architecture, and vendor teams.Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts and tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Experience with mobile CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Fastlane, CodePush, Expo, or similar platforms.Proven success operating in fast-paced, multi-product or multi-brand environments.State managementAPI integrationsApplication performance optimizationOffline and error handling strategiesPush notificationsPreferred Skills:Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and DevOps tools.Strong analytical, communication, and problem‐solving abilities.Experience with: Universal links and Deep linksGeolocation servicesDigital wallet integrationsExperience with observability, crash analytics, performance monitoring, and production support tools.Experience with automated mobile testing frameworks such as Detox, Appium, Maestro, WDIO, Playwright, Jest, or similar
