We are currently developing a pioneering mobile application that allows laboratory users to perform critical LIMS operations seamlessly on the go, without needing their laptops.The OpportunityWe are looking for a talented React Native Developer to own the development of our proprietary mobile app from the ground up. You will be responsible for creating an elegant, secure, and offline-capable mobile interface that handles sample registration, sample results entry, sample result review, and final approvals.You will work closely with our core backend/LIMS database team to establish secure, high-throughput REST API connections and ensure an ultra-smooth, responsive user experience for laboratory scientists and managers globally.Key ResponsibilitiesApp Development: Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable React Native code for both iOS and Android.LIMS Integration: Integrate the mobile app with LIMS backend web services and RESTful APIs.Offline Synchronization: Implement secure, local databases to allow scientists to register samples and enter results offline, with automatic syncing once a network connection is restored.State & Security Management: Implement clean state architecture (Redux, Recoil, or Zustand) and robust security protocols (Biometric login, token-based authentication, and encrypted local storage).UI/UX Fidelity: Translate Figma wireframes into high-fidelity, clean, and intuitive mobile interfaces tailored for fast-paced laboratory environments.Testing & Deployment: Conduct unit testing, handle bug fixes, and manage deployment to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.What We Are Looking For (Requirements)Core Experience: 3+ years of professional mobile app development experience, with at least 2 years of dedicated, hands-on experience building React Native apps in production.API & Data Handling: Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON parsing, and handling complex asynchronous data flows.Offline-First Development: Proven experience implementing offline-first architecture, local caching, and synchronization.Database Skills: Proficiency with local mobile databases (e.g., WatermelonDB, SQLite, Realm).Technical Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.Portfolio: A strong GitHub profile or links to live, published React Native apps in the App Store/Play Store (links must be provided in your application).Self-Starter: Comfort working in a fully remote, agile environment with minimal supervision.Nice-to-Haves (A Big Plus)Familiarity with enterprise LIMS, healthcare, or laboratory workflows.Experience with WebSockets or real-time notification architectures.What We OfferCompetitive Pay: A strong monthly compensation structure aligned with your technical expertise.100% Remote Workspace: Work from the comfort of your home with flexible hours.High Impact: You aren't just maintaining a legacy app—you are building Labquity's premier, proprietary mobile IP from scratch.Career Growth: Opportunity to grow into a Lead Mobile Architect as our development team expands.To Apply:If you are ready to build the future of mobile laboratory informatics, please click Easy Apply on this job posting.Don't forget to follow the Labquity Company Page to receive status updates, company news, and future job alerts!
