Mobile Application Technical Lead (Flutter)

Apply & track with Apply Edge- Lead the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including planning, system architecture, code quality, code reviews, and delivery of Flutter mobile applications and backend services.- Build, lead, hire, and mentor an in-house development team, establishing technical standards, development workflows, and best practices.- Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation covering system architecture, APIs, services, operational procedures, and onboarding.- Establish and enforce database security and access governance, including role-based permissions, auditing, and data protection across Firebase, Redis, and BigQuery.- Collaborate with DevOps teams to manage Kubernetes clusters and production, development, and staging environments across multiple Google Cloud Platform (GCP) projects.- Integrate AI-assisted development tools to enhance coding efficiency, automated testing, documentation, and code reviews.- Coordinate with the Qatar-based leadership team to align technical roadmaps, development priorities, product releases, and delivery timelines across multiple products.Requirements- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.- Minimum 8 years of professional software development experience.- Minimum 3 years of experience leading software development teams.- Proven ability to build and manage a development team from scratch.- Strong experience in Flutter mobile application development.- Experience with Supabase, MongoDB, and Firebase (Firestore, Realtime Database, and Firebase Cloud Messaging).- Strong knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Kubernetes/GKE, Pub/Sub, BigQuery, and Cloud Storage.- Experience with Redis, WebSockets, and real-time systems.- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and payment gateway integrations.- Experience with database security, Identity and Access Management (IAM), and access control.- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.- Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools.
