Mobile Architect (iOS/Android)

We are looking for an experienced Mobile Architect with strong expertise in iOS and Android platforms, mobile application architecture, and scalable and secure solutions to join projects for our client operating in the banking sector.ResponsibilitiesDesign and guide the development of scalable, secure, high-performance mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms within the banking domain.Define and continuously improve mobile application architecture, technical standards, design patterns, and development best practices.Lead architectural decisions regarding modularization, application components, API integrations, security, performance, and maintainability.Provide technical leadership and guidance to iOS and Android development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.Take a hands-on role in development activities when required, supporting teams in solving complex technical challenges.Ensure seamless and secure integration of mobile applications with backend services, REST APIs, and other banking systems.Identify and address performance bottlenecks related to memory management, threading, application responsiveness, and overall mobile performance.Conduct and/or contribute to code reviews, ensuring compliance with clean code principles, OOP, SOLID principles, architectural standards, and security requirements.Support the implementation and continuous improvement of mobile security practices in line with banking and information security requirements.Collaborate closely with product, business analysis, backend, DevOps, security, QA, and other technology teams to deliver end-to-end mobile solutions.Contribute to CI/CD, release management, automation, and DevOps practices for mobile applications.Evaluate emerging mobile technologies, frameworks, tools, and industry trends and drive their adoption where they provide business or technical value.Mentor developers, promote knowledge sharing, and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices within the team.Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, technical planning, estimation, and delivery processes.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related fieldMinimum 6 years of professional experience in mobile application developmentStrong knowledge and hands-on experience in iOS and Android platforms, including their respective programming languages, frameworks, and ecosystems.Experience in designing scalable and secure mobile architectures, integrating complex systems, and optimizing mobile application performance.Strong knowledge of mobile design patterns, security protocols, and API integration.Experience with Android SDK, Android versions, different devices, and screen sizes.Knowledge of Android memory management, threading, and performance optimization.Experience with mobile architectural patterns such as MVVM, MVVM+C, VIPER, Clean Swift, and MVP.Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and SOLID principles.Knowledge and experience with Core Data and GCD.Experience in designing and developing applications using modular architecture.Experience building iOS user interfaces programmatically using technologies such as SnapKit and NSLayoutConstraint.Strong experience with REST APIs and backend service integrations.Experience with source control and dependency management tools including Git, CocoaPods, and SPM.Knowledge and experience with Android and iOS architecture components.Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Java.Experience working with Agile methodologies, Git, and JIRA.Strong technical leadership skills with a hands-on approach and the ability to guide development teams, with a good understanding of DevOps practices.Ability to follow and evaluate current and emerging technology trends and apply relevant technologies to mobile solutions.Good command of technical English, both written and spoken.Apply now, discover change and transformation together with Mirsis, the address of innovation!About Mirsis;Mirsis Information Technologies offers innovative and value-added product and service solutions for different sectors and businesses of all sizes in the field of information technologies.
