Currently instealth mode.• Backed by Tier 1 US VCs• Founding team of serial entrepreneurs• Global team (Singapore / India / US)• Team members work on cutting-edge learning technologies that aim to redefine how learnersachieve their goals.Responsibilities• Design, develop, and deploy new features for our Android application from concept through tolaunch.• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features with a focus onscalability and performance.• Optimize app performance and troubleshoot issues to improve the overall user experience.• Actively participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices.• Implement best practices for testing, observability, and continuous integration.• Keep up with emerging Android technologies and best practices, continuously improving ourdevelopment processes.Required Skills and QualificationsExperience: 4+ years of Android development experience, with a focus on building and scaling consumer-grade mobile applications.Languages: Proficient in Kotlin with a strong understanding of object-oriented and functional programming.UI Development: Strong expertise with a minimum of 2 years of experience building with Jetpack Compose.Architecture: Solid understanding of Android architectural components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, etc.) and Clean Architecture principles.Code Quality: Obsession with clean, maintainable code and modular design.Mindset: A “tech purist” approach — you enjoy building things the right way, not just the fastest wayBonus: Exposure to early-stage startups, open-source contributions, or serious side projectsCritical AspectsNo Vibe Coding: You can write, read, and reason through code independently — AI tools are an accelerant, not a crutchSystem Design Thinking: You think in terms of systems, trade-offs, and scale, not just individual featuresWork Location: Bengaluru, HSR Layout (Work From Office).
