U-topia is building secure, scalable, and accessible financial products for users worldwide.Role DescriptionThe Mobile Developer (React Native) role at U-topia is a full-time, on-site position based in Faisalabad.We are looking for a Mid-Level / Mid-Senior Mobile Developer with 1–2 years of professional experience who can develop, maintain, and improve high-quality mobile applications for both iOS and Android.The developer will work closely with backend developers, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and other team members to build reliable, secure, scalable, and user-friendly mobile applications.Responsibilities include developing reusable mobile components, integrating REST APIs and third-party services, managing application state, optimizing mobile performance, debugging platform-specific issues, and maintaining clean and scalable application architecture.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React NativeBuild reusable, scalable, and maintainable mobile componentsConvert UI/UX designs into functional and responsive mobile interfacesIntegrate REST APIs and backend servicesIntegrate third-party SDKs, APIs, and mobile servicesImplement authentication, session management, and secure data handlingManage application state and server-side data efficientlyImplement navigation and complex mobile application flowsOptimize application performance, responsiveness, and loading timesHandle platform-specific functionality for Android and iOSImplement push notifications and deep linking where requiredDebug and resolve application crashes, UI issues, and technical problemsTest applications across different mobile devices and screen sizesMaintain clean, modular, reusable, and well-structured codeParticipate in code reviews and technical discussionsCollaborate with backend developers, designers, QA engineers, and other team membersRequired SkillsStrong hands-on experience with React NativeStrong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScriptGood understanding of React Hooks and component-based architectureExperience with Expo / Expo RouterExperience integrating REST APIsGood understanding of mobile application lifecycle and navigationExperience with state management libraries such as Redux, Zustand, or Context APIExperience with server-state management tools such as TanStack Query / React QueryFamiliarity with secure local storage and authentication flowsUnderstanding of Android and iOS platform differencesFamiliarity with Git and GitHubStrong debugging and problem-solving skillsAbility to write clean, scalable, and maintainable codeGood understanding of responsive mobile UI developmentGood communication and teamwork skillsPreferred SkillsExperience with TypeScriptExperience with Expo EAS BuildExperience with FirebaseExperience implementing FCM / push notificationsFamiliarity with deep linking and universal linksExperience integrating third-party SDKs and servicesExperience with biometric authentication and secure storageUnderstanding of mobile application security best practicesFamiliarity with App Store and Google Play deployment processesExperience handling native Android/iOS configuration when requiredUnderstanding of performance optimization in React NativeFamiliarity with fintech, payment, wallet, or financial applications will be considered a plusExperience RequiredMinimum 1 year of professional/industrial mobile development experience is required.Candidates with 1–2 years of relevant professional experience in React Native mobile development are preferred.The candidate should be capable of independently handling assigned mobile features, debugging technical issues, integrating APIs/SDKs, and contributing to application architecture and code quality.Please do not apply if you have less than 1 year of professional/industrial experience.
