Mobile Development Engineer

Job Purpose:Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Kotlin Multiplatform (KMM). The role focuses on building scalable, secure, and high-performing mobile solutions, including map-based features, while following modern development practices such as Clean Architecture, MVVM, automated testing, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using KotlinBuild and optimize map-based features (e.g., location tracking, routing, markers, geofencing)Follow Clean Architecture principles to ensure scalable, maintainable, and testable codeCollaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to define and implement featuresWrite clean, reusable, and well-documented codeIdentify and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and memory leaksEnsure application performance, quality, and responsivenessParticipate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standardsQualifications and Experience:Minimum 6+ years of experience in Android application developmentStrong proficiency in Kotlin & Jetpack ComposeProven experience in developing map-based Android applications (Google Maps, Mapbox, or similar)Good understanding of Clean Architecture, MVVM, and separation of concernsExperience with Android Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation, etc.)Knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON integrationExperience with third-party libraries and SDKsFamiliarity with Git or other version control systemsExperience with dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger/Koin)Knowledge of Coroutines and FlowExperience with unit testing and UI testingUnderstanding of app performance optimization and security best practicesKnowledge of Kotlin Multiplatform Knowledge of Compose Multiplatform
