The app is where that promise becomes real: connecting to a wearable,recovering from interruptions and making the experience feel effortless.The role You’ll own engineering for NeoSapien’s consumer app, working with the CTO and Product. Ownarchitecture, review standards and technical release readiness while continuing to code. Giveengineers clear feature ownership and build their judgment so delivery does not queue behindyou.What you’ll own ● Own the engineering path from agreed scope to a stable release. Surface dependencies and tradeoffs early; agree acceptance, integration tests and rollout plans with Product, backend and firmware before promising a date.● Reliability across BLE connections, background execution, offline recovery, audio flows, battery use and platform-specific behaviour.● Review correctness, async behaviour, recovery, performance, security and tests. Set risk-based review gates and stop a release when critical evidence is missing.Product accepts the experience; engineering owns technical readiness.● Coach engineers through real work. Feature owners carry implementation, tests and release evidence; you set the bar, review risky changes and help them make sound decisions independently. Build review depth beyond yourself.What we’re looking for ● You’ve already led an app engineering team as an App Lead, Mobile Lead or equivalent. You’ve built and operated consumer products through growth, with direct ownership of architecture, thorough code reviews, coaching and production releases.● Strong mobile engineering fundamentals, hands-on Flutter/Dart experience is good to have and enough Android or iOS depth to debug beyond the framework. Connected-device or real-time audio experience is valuable.● You balance product pace with quality. You can simplify a design, investigate a production issue and resolve a disagreement without making every decision depend on the CTO.● You use AI tools thoughtfully to accelerate engineering, while checking generated code, protecting data and owning the result
