Mobile Platform Engineer | Long-term Project | BankingWe are looking for…Our client, is looking for a Mobile Platform Engineer to join the Development Tooling department. You'll become part of the Mobile Pipeline Team, responsible for the CI/CD platform and developer tooling that supports Android and iOS development teams across the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, the UK and India. As a Mobile Platform Engineer, you are responsible for developing, maintaining and improving the CI/CD platform and developer tooling used by mobile engineering teams throughout the business.You will:Design, build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Android and iOS applications.Develop reusable Azure DevOps pipeline templates and building blocks.Support development teams with the implementation and optimisation of CI/CD practices.Maintain and enhance mobile development tooling.Collaborate with Security, Architecture and engineering teams to ensure platform compliance.Troubleshoot pipeline, automation and platform-related issues.Improve the overall developer experience through automation and platform enhancements.Drive continuous improvements across the mobile engineering platform. ExperienceExperience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.Experience with Azure DevOps or a similar DevOps platform.Strong experience with Git.Familiarity with Android development and the Android ecosystem.Basic familiarity with iOS development.Experience with one or more of: Android StudioXcodeFirebaseFastlaneGradleEspressoXCTestOversecuredExperience reading or working with: Kotlin (preferred)SwiftPythonRubyShell scriptingStrong understanding of software quality and security practices.Experience working directly with development teams and supporting engineering platforms.Nice to haveJava development experience with a willingness to work in Kotlin.Experience building reusable CI/CD templates.Experience supporting internal developer platforms or engineering enablement teams.
