Mobile QA Engineer

Senior Mobile QA EngineerWe are looking for an experienced Senior Mobile QA Engineer to strengthen a Mobile Engineering Platform team within a large enterprise environment.In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, reliability and consistency of an internal mobile SDK used across both iOS and Android applications. You will work in a platform setting where multiple teams contribute shared modules that are consumed across the organisation.You will also support the development of a new greenfield application that brings these modules together into one cohesive product. The role offers a strong balance between building something new and working with established standards, frameworks and architectural principles.What you will doDefine and implement the QA strategy for a mobile platform and SDK environmentValidate the integration of modules and dependencies delivered by multiple core app teamsSupport the quality of a new application built on top of internal SDK componentsDesign, build and maintain automated test solutions for SDKs, frameworks and integration layersImprove test coverage across modular architectures and complex dependency chainsDevelop integration, end-to-end and regression test suitesIntegrate testing into CI/CD pipelines, release processes and quality gatesSupport versioning, release validation and safe distribution of SDK and framework componentsIdentify defects, perform root-cause analysis and drive structural improvementsImprove performance, stability, scalability and maintainability through testingHelp development teams improve testability, feedback loops and quality insightsCollaborate with developers, platform engineers and consuming teamsPrevent regressions across shared modules and support safe migrationsPromote QA best practices through guilds, knowledge sharing and engineering communitiesWhat we are looking for6–8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality EngineeringStrong experience in mobile testing environmentsExperience testing both iOS and Android applicationsHands-on experience with mobile test automation tools such as XCTest, Espresso, Appium or similarExperience testing modular architectures and systems with multiple dependenciesExperience validating SDKs, frameworks or shared platform componentsStrong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release validation processesExperience with integration, end-to-end and regression testingExperience with performance and stability testingStrong analytical and root-cause analysis skillsAbility to work effectively across multiple teams and stakeholdersProactive mindset and the ability to drive quality improvements independentlyNice to haveExperience working within internal developer platforms or SDK teamsKnowledge of observability, monitoring and mobile telemetryExperience with accessibility and security testingExperience testing large-scale mobile ecosystemsExposure to AI-assisted testing approachesThis is an excellent opportunity for a senior QA professional who enjoys working at platform level and wants to influence quality across an entire mobile engineering ecosystem.
