The company also provides on-site vehicle maintenance services, emphasizing efficiency, reliability, and cost savings for fleet operators.Role Description The Mobile Service Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Ohio, United States, overseeing mobile fleet maintenance operations and ensuring high-quality service delivery to customers. This role includes scheduling and coordinating mobile service appointments, managing technicians and service vehicles, and monitoring work quality and safety standards. The Mobile Service Manager will liaise with customers to understand service needs, provide updates, and resolve concerns, while ensuring accurate documentation of work performed and parts used. The role also involves optimizing routes and workloads, maintaining tools and equipment, supporting the use of diagnostic technologies, and collaborating with leadership to improve processes and service efficiency.Qualifications Strong background in fleet maintenance or heavy vehicle service management, with hands-on understanding of truck and commercial vehicle systems.Experience supervising or coordinating service technicians, including scheduling, workload management, and performance oversight.Ability to use and interpret results from diagnostic and maintenance technologies (e.g., DPF cleaning systems, oil analysis tools, alignment equipment) or willingness to learn.Solid organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple mobile service calls and maintain accurate records.Effective communication and customer service skills to interact with clients, explain services, and address issues professionally.Comfort working in an on-site, field-based environment, including local travel to customer locations as needed.Basic computer skills for scheduling, reporting, and use of maintenance management software.Relevant technical or vocational training in automotive, diesel, or fleet maintenance preferred; prior experience in a fleet or trucking environment is highly beneficial.Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record required; eligibility to operate service vehicles as needed.Commitment to safety, adherence to company policies, and ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
