The company is committed to building long-term partnerships by delivering dependable service with integrity and professionalism.Role Description The Mobile Service Technician is a full-time, hybrid role based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, with a mix of field work at customer sites and limited work from home for administrative tasks and scheduling. Day-to-day responsibilities include performing preventive maintenance services, DOT inspections, and heavy-duty truck and trailer repairs, as well as diagnosing and repairing diesel engines, electrical systems, aftertreatment systems, air brakes, suspension, steering, hydraulic, PTO, and HVAC systems. The technician will conduct diagnostic assessments, document findings, complete work orders accurately, and communicate clearly with customers about service needs and repair recommendations. The role also involves providing emergency roadside assistance when required, maintaining service vehicles, tools, and equipment in safe working condition, and following all safety and compliance standards. The Mobile Service Technician will represent Legacy Fleet & More LLC professionally, supporting strong customer relationships and contributing to efficient fleet operations.QualificationsStrong technical skills in heavy-duty truck and trailer repair, diesel engine diagnostics and repair, and air brake, suspension, and steering systems.Experience with electrical and aftertreatment diagnostics, hydraulic and PTO systems, and HVAC (A/C and heating) service.Ability to perform preventive maintenance, DOT inspections, and general fleet maintenance according to industry and regulatory standards.Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, hand and power tools, and service equipment safely and effectively.Solid problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with attention to detail in documentation and work quality.Effective communication skills to explain technical issues and repair options to customers and team members.Ability to work independently in the field, manage time efficiently, and adapt to changing priorities and locations.Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to safely operate service vehicles and comply with DOT requirements.Prior experience in commercial trucking, fleet maintenance, or a related field; vocational or technical training in diesel or automotive technology is preferred.Commitment
