You’ll also receive training in hydraulics, auto electrical systems and specialist access equipment—valuable skills that can broaden your career.No previous wheelchair-lift experience is required. We’re looking for a reliable mechanic with solid fundamentals, a practical mindset and the motivation to learn.Ideally, you’ll have:A light vehicle, heavy vehicle or similar trade qualificationStrong general mechanical and fault-finding skillsA willingness to learn hydraulic and electrical systemsThe confidence to work independently at customer sitesGood communication and customer-service skillsPride in your workmanship and attention to safetyA current Australian driver’s licenceBasic confidence using a phone or tablet to complete job reportsAbout AvancoAvanco provides vehicle servicing, repairs and is a leader in specialised vehicle-access solutions.
