They work at the intersection of cutting-edge hardware and software, with modern offices in central London.As part of their Simulation and Modelling team, they're now looking for a Modelling Engineer to build the high-fidelity pre-silicon models that shape the company's architecture, performance and product design long before hardware exists. This isn't a support function, it's the group that defines how the hardware behaves.What you'll be working on:Developing pre-silicon models of AI acceleration hardwareArchitectural exploration and definitionFunctional modellingPerformance modelling and bottleneck analysisEarly software development on virtual platformsWorking closely with hardware, software and ML teams in a true hardware/software co-design loopWhat they're looking for:Extensive relevant experience in pre-silicon modellingExperience with pre-silicon modelling of complex semiconductor IPSystemC or equivalent modelling frameworks (e.g. OSCI TLM)C++ for high-performance simulationPerformance modelling and architectural analysisVerification and functional modellingAbility to operate across architecture, performance and functional correctnessBonus points:Experience with ML workloads or ML accelerator architecturesPrior startup or small-team experiencePlease note: this role requires genuine hardware modelling experience.
