Team members join a well-established organization with a strong reputation in packaging and continuous demand for its products.Duties & Responsibilities: •Design and develop molds according to product requirements and specifications, with preference for thermoforming molds used in plastic packaging applications.•Prepare detailed 3D models and 2D manufacturing drawings.•Perform reverse engineering of existing molds, tooling, and components when required.•Work closely with the CNC Machining, Tool Room, and Production teams to ensure manufacturability, accuracy, and effective mold performance.•Select suitable mold materials based on product and production requirements.•Support mold trials and identify design or manufacturing issues requiring modification.•Troubleshoot mold-related production problems and recommend design improvements to enhance product quality, cycle time, and mold performance.•Ensure mold designs consider appropriate tolerances, fits, surface finishes, and manufacturability.•Support the complete mold development cycle from concept and design through manufacturing, trial, modification, and final approval.Qualifications•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.•Minimum 3-5 years of experience in mold design, preferably in thermoforming/plastic manufacturing.•Good knowledge of mold manufacturing and CNC machining processes.•Proficiency in CAD/design software; SolidWorks preferred.•Ability to prepare and interpret technical drawings.Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
