The role covers the execution and optimization of the molecular biology lab routines executed as part of ongoing research and production activities.

Responsibilities

Perform DNA sequencing procedures (Sanger sequencing, Oxford Nanopore sequencing) as part of routine lab workflowsCarry out alkaline lysis plasmid extraction following standard protocols, both manual and with the automated extraction systemsConduct molecular cloning procedures (RE-, Gibson, Golden Gate, USER cloning etc), including plasmid preparation and verificationUpdate and maintain of the SOPs for the listed procedures and methodsMaintain accurate laboratory records and document experimental resultsPrepare reagents, solutions, and consumables required for daily molecular biology lab operations (media, buffers, plates etc)Order and manage lab supplies and inventory, utilized in molecular biology protocolsCollaborate with lab team members to support ongoing research projectsWhat we expect from applicants:Bachelor's degree in Biology, Biochemistry, or related field — requiredMaster's degree in a relevant field — desirableAt least 1 year of hands-on wet lab experience — requiredEnglish proficiency at B2 level or higherFamiliarity with basic molecular biology techniques (plasmid extraction, molecular cloning, PCR, sequencing)(practical experience is preferred, but not required)Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new methodsStrong attention to detail and accuracy in documentationAbility to work independently and follow SOPs preciselyGood communication and teamwork skills What We OfferFull-time employment contractFlexible 8-hour workday scheduleModern and comfortable laboratory environment in our R&D campus (Kyiv)Competitive salary based on experienceOpportunities for professional growth and skill developmentSupportive and collaborative team30 days of paid vacation annuallyEmployee special discounts program for Yuria-Pharm-manufactured medicines and productsIf you want to join the team, send your CV to biotech@uf.ua.
