Apply & track with Apply EdgeA leading international financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) to join its Guernsey-based Compliance team.This is a key regulatory appointment with responsibility for leading the financial crime framework, providing expert guidance to senior management, and ensuring the business maintains robust controls across AML, sanctions, fraud, anti-bribery and corruption, and wider financial crime risk.Working closely with the Head of Compliance and wider Group stakeholders, you will act as the principal point of contact for financial crime matters, oversee suspicious activity reporting, manage relationships with regulators and law enforcement agencies, and provide meaningful oversight and challenge to the first line of defence.Key responsibilities include:Acting as MLRO for a regulated Guernsey entity, with potential additional MLRO/DMLRO responsibilities.Leading financial crime risk assessments, monitoring and reporting.Managing investigations, SAR submissions and regulatory disclosures.Providing advisory support to senior management, committees and boards.Overseeing customer due diligence, sanctions screening and financial crime controls.Delivering management information, reporting and financial crime training.Supporting strategic projects and regulatory change initiatives.The successful candidate will have:Previous or current regulatory approval as an MLRO.A recognised Compliance and/or Financial Crime qualification.Strong experience within a regulated financial services environment.Excellent knowledge of Guernsey, UK and international AML and regulatory requirements.Strong stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.Experience providing second-line financial crime oversight.This is an outstanding opportunity to join a respected organisation in a high-profile role offering significant influence, visibility and career progression.
