Job Connect aims to become a leading platform that transforms careers and supports business growth by consistently aligning the right people with the right opportunities.Role Description The Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist will design, implement, and manage M&E frameworks to track the performance and impact of Job Connect’s programs and services. This full-time, on-site role in Harare involves developing indicators, data collection tools, and methodologies, as well as coordinating routine monitoring activities across projects. The specialist will analyze quantitative and qualitative data, prepare reports and dashboards, and provide evidence-based insights to inform strategy and operational improvements. Daily responsibilities include offering technical assistance to internal teams and partners on M&E best practices, ensuring data quality and compliance with organizational standards, and supporting evaluations, surveys, and assessments. The role also includes collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate learnings into program design and supporting capacity building in monitoring and evaluation.QualificationsStrong system monitoring and M&E skills, including the design and implementation of monitoring frameworks and tools.Proficient in analytical skills and statistics, with the ability to interpret data and produce actionable insights.Experience providing technical assistance on M&E processes, data quality assurance, and reporting standards.Knowledge of common data analysis software or tools (e.g., Excel, statistical packages, dashboards or BI tools).Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Social Sciences, Economics, Public Policy, Development Studies, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage.Proven experience in monitoring and evaluation roles within development, HR, recruitment, or related sectors.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentation of findings to diverse stakeholders.Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and to engage respectfully with diverse groups.Commitment to ethical data management, confidentiality, and inclusive, non-discriminatory practices.
