Apply & track with Apply EdgeJob Purpose:The Monitoring Manager is responsible for monitoring Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorism Financing (CTF) activities across DERAYAH to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, internal policies, and procedures. The role oversees transaction monitoring, suspicious activity reviews, KYC monitoring, and AML reporting, identifies potential compliance risks, and escalates significant findings to the Head of Compliance & AML while supporting the effectiveness of the Company's AML monitoring framework.Duties & Responsibilities:Monitor client transactions and account activities to identify suspicious transactions, unusual patterns, and potential AML/CTF or market manipulation risks. Review and investigate AML alerts generated by monitoring systems and assess cases escalated by employees in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.Perform ongoing monitoring of customer accounts, including dormant, inactive, and closed accounts, and recommend appropriate actions in line with internal policies.Conduct periodic reviews of KYC and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) records to ensure they remain accurate, complete, and compliant with applicable regulations.Monitor compliance with AML/CTF regulatory requirements, internal policies, and customer onboarding standards across business operations.Prepare periodic AML monitoring reports, case summaries, and management information for the Head of Compliance & AML and relevant committees.Escalate suspicious activities, high-risk transactions, and regulatory breaches to the Head of Compliance & AML, while maintaining proper documentation and audit trails.Coordinate with Compliance, Risk, Internal Audit, Operations, and regulatory authorities during AML reviews, investigations, inspections, and information requestEducation & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal, or any related field.+6 years of relevant experienceRequired skills:Analytical Thinking and Decision-MakingSpecialized knowledge and •Professional Certification:knowledge of the industry’s standards and regulationsknowledge of investment banking and CMA regulations.CME-1 & CME-2
