Windsor Montessori SchoolEARLY CHILDHOOD EDUCATOR II – Toddler TeacherThe Town of Windsor is looking for a dynamic, energetic Montessori Toddler Teacher to fill a full-time position. The successful candidate will lead an Infant Toddler Montessori environment for children ages 6 weeks to 24 months; work with assistants, interns, and contractual employees; implement and plan a Montessori curriculum, conduct daily observations, complete report cards, conduct parent teacher conferences, order materials and supplies as needed; prepare daily reports to families; attend monthly staff meetings; participate in seminars and training sessions as assigned; and, maintain timely and accurate work records.Minimum RequirementsMinimum of Associates degree in early childhood education, Bachelor’s degree preferred early childhood education or related field with 1 year experience; or, any combination of education and/or experience requiredMust have good knowledge of principles and practices of early childhood education and developmentAMS Montessori Certification or completion of an accredited Montessori training program preferred.
