Mortgage Sales SpecialistWe are looking for an experienced Mortgage Sales Specialist to join a leading Financial Institution. This is a client facing, commercially focused role responsible for developing new mortgage business, building strong customer relationships and taking opportunities through to successful completion.The Role:Generate new mortgage business through your own network, internal referrals and other approved channels.Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers throughout the mortgage journey.Take ownership of applications, working with internal teams to keep deals moving from initial enquiry through to completion.Develop and manage a healthy pipeline, with a strong focus on conversion and achieving sales targets.Keep customers informed throughout the process and provide a high level of service.Identify potential issues early and work with relevant teams to resolve them.Ensure all activity is conducted within the companies policies, regulatory requirements and risk framework.

Requirements

6+ years experience within financial services, with a strong background in mortgage sales or mortgage origination.Demonstrable success in generating mortgage business and delivering against sales targets.Strong customer-facing and relationship management skills.Good knowledge of mortgage products, lending processes and credit requirements.Confident managing multiple stakeholders and a busy pipeline.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
