The Mortgage Consultant will meet with prospective and existing clients to understand their home financing needs, assess eligibility, and recommend suitable mortgage products. Daily responsibilities include explaining mortgage options and terms, collecting and reviewing financial documentation, coordinating with banks and lenders, and tracking application progress. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, following up with clients, and ensuring a smooth experience from initial inquiry through loan approval and closing. The Mortgage Consultant is expected to uphold regulatory and compliance standards while delivering high-quality customer service.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong knowledge of the Mortgage Industry and practical experience with Mortgages.Candidates should possess a solid understanding of Finance principles and Mortgage Lending processes.Candidates should possess excellent Customer Service skills and a client-focused approach.Candidates should possess strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly.Candidates should possess good analytical and numerical abilities, with attention to detail in reviewing documentation.Candidates should possess proficiency in basic office software and CRM tools, and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.Relevant experience in mortgage brokerage, banking, or financial services is preferred.
