Day-to-day activities include assessing borrower financial profiles, recommending appropriate loan products, collecting and reviewing documentation, and coordinating with underwriting, processing, and closing teams. The role involves explaining loan terms and conditions, providing status updates, and maintaining clear and consistent communication with customers, real estate agents, and internal stakeholders. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Philadelphia, PA, requiring regular in-person meetings and collaboration with local referral partners. The Mortgage Loan Officer is expected to actively develop new business, manage a pipeline of applications, and uphold Supreme Lending’s standards of ethical, compliant, and customer-centered service.Qualifications Strong knowledge of the mortgage industry, including mortgage lending practices and market trends.Experience working as a Loan Officer or in a similar residential mortgage sales role.Familiarity with underwriting guidelines, loan products, and documentation requirements.Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to build trust, explain complex information clearly, and manage borrower expectations.Proven ability to generate and manage a pipeline of loans, including prospecting and relationship-building with referral partners.Strong analytical and financial assessment skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.Effective verbal and written communication skills; comfortable interacting with diverse customers and stakeholders.Ability to work on-site in Philadelphia, PA, and collaborate with team members in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with loan origination systems and basic office software (e.g., CRM tools, Microsoft Office).Relevant state licensing and NMLS registration (or eligibility to obtain), in accordance with applicable regulations.
