The MRI Service Engineer is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing MRI equipment, performing routine inspections, calibration, and performance testing to ensure safe and reliable operation. This role involves diagnosing technical issues, executing corrective actions, and providing on-site technical support to healthcare staff. The engineer will document service activities, maintain accurate records, coordinate with vendors or manufacturers as needed, and respond to field service calls in a timely manner. Collaboration with clinical teams to minimize equipment downtime and adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality standards are key aspects of the daily work.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving MRI system faults efficiently.Candidates should possess Field Service experience, including on-site support and handling service calls in healthcare or medical equipment environments.Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for interacting with clinical staff, vendors, and internal teams.Candidates should possess Technical Support capabilities, including remote and on-site guidance, issue documentation, and escalation when required.Candidates should possess Maintenance & Repair skills for preventive servicing, corrective repairs, calibration, and compliance with safety standards.Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.Hands-on experience with MRI or other advanced imaging equipment is highly preferred.Working knowledge of medical device regulations, safety protocols, and quality procedures.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and service documentation.Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to urgent service requests on-site in New Delhi.
