Trade Support – FICC / Equity Derivatives Key ResponsibilitiesAccurately capture and validate trades in booking systems (e.g., Bloomberg TOMS/AIMS or internal platforms) post-execution.Manage trade affirmation/confirmation and coordinate with custodians and Prime Brokers to ensure timely settlement and resolve trade failures.Monitor corporate actions (coupons, redemptions, mergers, credit events) and derivative lifecycle events (resets, fixings, rolls, compressions).Perform daily reconciliations between internal systems and external counterparty statements to identify and resolve breaks.Assist with margin call calculations (Initial/Variation) for cleared and bilateral OTC derivatives.Assist with HKTR reporting and post-trade processing.Provide real-time support to the trading desk on post-trade issues and collaborate with Finance, Risk, and IT on escalations and process improvements.Participate in ad-hoc initiatives to support new products and automate manual processes.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.Candidates with an IT background or education are strongly preferred.4+ years in Trade Support, Middle Office, or Settlements.Experience in using AI to enhance process efficiency and automation is highly desirable.Hands-on experience with at least three product types: Rates & Credit (Bonds, Repos, IRS, CDS), Equity Derivatives (Options, Swaps, TRS), FX/Commodities, or MBS/CMOs.Strong MS Excel skills; familiarity with Bloomberg; scripting skills (Python/VBA/SQL) are a plus.Strong attention to detail, excellent communication, ability to multi-task under pressure, and a collaborative mindset.2. Middle Office – OTC Derivatives Operations Key ResponsibilitiesServe as core middle-office support for equity derivatives trading, covering trade booking, position management, P&L valuation, and trade lifecycle management.Bridge the full chain across front office trading, product structuring, technology development, compliance, and risk.Safeguard end-to-end lifecycle management of OTC derivatives transactions from onboarding through settlement.RequirementsMaster’s degree or above; quantitative/composite background in Financial Engineering, Mathematical Statistics, Computer Science, Automation, or related disciplines preferred.2+ years of derivatives middle office / product control / trade support experience at an international investment bank or Chinese securities firm.Familiarity with Hong Kong and cross-border derivatives business rules.Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken); Cantonese is a plus.SFC Type 1, 2, 4 licenses preferred.3. Settlement – Hong Kong Equities Key ResponsibilitiesPerform daily Hong Kong equity settlement operations, including trade matching, CCASS operations, and DVP settlement.Handle SI/ISI instructions, IPO allotments, corporate actions, and nominee services.Reconcile cash and stock positions with custodians, counterparties, and internal systems; investigate and resolve breaks.Monitor funding and stock availability, escalate settlement risks and fails.Support UAT and process improvement initiatives.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.2+ years of securities settlement experience; hands-on Hong Kong equity / CCASS experience strongly preferred.Good knowledge of HKEX clearing rules, CCASS operations, and relevant regulatory requirements.Detail-oriented with strong communication skills; fluent in English and Chinese; Cantonese is an advantage.SFC Type 1 licence is a plus.4. Client OnboardingKey ResponsibilitiesDrive the FI account opening lifecycle, including timely collection, verification, and system input of KYC/CDD data, ensuring all documentation is validated and archived before account activation.Proactively track, chase, and resolve CDD deferrals, liaising with Front Office and clients to obtain missing documents and clear outstanding items promptly.Execute daily operational checks including World-Check, sanctions screening, CRS, and FATCA classifications, accurately updating records in client relationship management systems.Strictly adhere to internal AML policies and regulations, identifying documentation discrepancies and escalating red flags to your supervisor immediately.Act as the operational bridge between Front Office, Legal and Compliance, and Back Office teams to ensure smooth handoffs and avoid bottlenecks.Assist with system UAT testing, data clean-up, and process improvement initiatives as required.RequirementsBachelor’s degree or above in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum 5 years of Operations experience within Financial Institutions, specifically handling institutional client onboarding — Brokerage, Global Markets, and Investment Banking experience is a must.Strong operational knowledge of FI documentation.Proven ability to handle high-volume queues with zero errors, proactively follow up, and manage multiple cases simultaneously under pressure.Experience in using AI to manage automation is preferable.Excellent command of written and spoken English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.
