If you're energized by analog photography, love building strong teams, and thrive on keeping things running like clockwork, this is your role.As Museum Manager, you'll be the glue that holds daily operations together — anticipating needs, solving problems before they escalate, and creating an environment where staff feel supported and set up to succeed. You'll balance big-picture thinking with hands-on involvement, stepping in wherever the museum needs you most.Team Leadership and SchedulingCreate, manage, and maintain the staff schedule to ensure appropriate coverage and efficient operations. This includes approving time off requests. Conduct monthly or bi-monthly check-ins with staff to provide feedback, discuss growth opportunities, and address any concerns.Train and onboard new staff members, ensuring they are familiar with museum procedures and expectations.Operational OversightDelegate and participate in daily museum tasks, including cleaning, organizing supplies, and chemical changes.Ensure all museum supplies and materials are adequately stocked and organized.Ensure staff is following mandatory safety procedures.Make sure all employees receive required breaks and accurately clock in and out.Personnel OversightMediate interpersonal or team conflicts to maintain a positive work environmentAddress performance issues, attendance concerns, and conduct violations through coaching, documentation, and disciplinary action when necessaryIdentify high-potential employees and support their development through mentorship and growth opportunitiesMachine MaintenancePartake in weekly chemical changes for the booths.Act as a team player, helping troubleshoot booth issues, changing paper, etc. Qualifications3+ years of retail experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or management roleStrong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentProficiency with POS systems and basic computer applications (Excel, email, scheduling software)Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25–40 lbs
