preferredCandidates currently outside Vijayawada who are willing to relocate are encouraged to apply.About the RoleThe Music Facilitator will support the development of the school's music and performing arts programme by delivering engaging, age-appropriate, and student-centered music learning experiences.The role involves teaching vocal music, choir, and instrumental music, preparing students for performances and competitions, and contributing to the school's wider cultural and co-curricular activities.What You'll DoMusic Teaching & LearningPlan and deliver engaging music lessons for students across different age groups.Teach vocal music, choir, and instrumental music based on your area of expertise.Develop students' musical skills, confidence, creativity, listening, rhythm, and performance abilities.Use age-appropriate and differentiated approaches to support students with different levels of musical experience.Introduce students to Indian and Western musical traditions where appropriate.Encourage students to explore, create, perform, and appreciate music.Integrate technology and digital tools where appropriate to enhance music learning.Choir & Instrumental ProgrammeOrganize and lead school choir practices and instrumental ensembles.Prepare students for school concerts, assemblies, annual day programmes, competitions, and special events.Support students preparing for recognized music examinations such as Trinity, ABRSM, or other relevant programmes.Develop opportunities for students to perform individually and as groups.Programme DevelopmentContribute to the development of the school's music curriculum across different grade levels.Support the planning of annual music activities, performances, workshops, and cultural programmes.Collaborate with teachers to integrate music into interdisciplinary and school-wide learning experiences.Identify and encourage students with particular musical interests and abilities.Classroom & Student SupportCreate a positive, safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment.Maintain appropriate classroom and rehearsal routines.Encourage student participation, creativity, confidence, and teamwork.Support students in developing performance confidence and stage presence.Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.Assessment & DocumentationAssess and document student progress using appropriate formative and performance-based assessment methods.Maintain relevant student records, portfolios, and learning documentation.Communicate student progress and areas for development when required.Collaboration & EventsWork collaboratively with teachers, coordinators, department heads, and school leadership.Participate in staff meetings, curriculum planning, professional development, and school activities.Support school events such as Annual Day, assemblies, talent shows, cultural programmes, celebrations, exhibitions, and competitions.Coordinate music rehearsals and performances as required.Conduct or support after-school music clubs, workshops, and enrichment activities.What We're Looking ForBachelor's or Master's degree in Music, Performing Arts, Vocal Music, Instrumental Music, or a related field.Formal teaching qualification such as B.Ed., PGCE, or equivalent will be an advantage.Strong proficiency in Vocal Music, Choir, or at least one musical instrument.Ability to work effectively with children and young learners.Good communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organizational and classroom management skills.Passion for music education and student development.Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and school leadership.Willingness to participate in school performances, rehearsals, events, and co-curricular activities.Experience & CurriculumExperience in IB PYP/MYP or CBSE schools is preferred but not mandatory.Candidates with experience in schools, music academies, conservatories, performing arts institutions, or structured music education programmes are encouraged to apply.Experience teaching Vocal Music, Choir, Keyboard, Piano, Guitar, Drums, Tabla, Indian Classical Music, Western Music, or other instruments will be considered based on the candidate's area of expertise.Additional Skills – An AdvantageTrinity, ABRSM, or other recognized music certifications.Experience directing school choirs, ensembles, or musical productions.Experience preparing students for music examinations and competitions.Familiarity with music technology and digital audio tools such as GarageBand, FL Studio, or similar platforms.Knowledge of Orff, Kodály, or other music education methodologies.Experience in event coordination and
