The Music Teacher will plan and deliver engaging music lessons, including individual and group instruction, aligned with the school’s curriculum and standards. Responsibilities include teaching music theory and performance skills, preparing students for assessments, concerts, and recitals, and integrating a variety of instruments and musical styles into lessons. The role involves assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, maintaining classroom resources, and collaborating with colleagues on school events and interdisciplinary projects. The Music Teacher will also participate in parent meetings, professional development activities, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.Qualifications Strong foundation in Music Theory and general Music knowledge, with the ability to teach a range of levels.Demonstrated Music Performance skills, with experience performing or directing ensembles, choirs, or bands.Training or experience in Music Education, including lesson planning, classroom management, and student assessment.Proficiency in Piano and ability to use piano as an instructional and accompaniment instrument.Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music, or a closely related field; teaching certification or license is an advantage.Experience teaching in school settings, preferably in international or multicultural environments.Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners of diverse backgrounds.Commitment to inclusive teaching practices, ongoing professional development, and collaboration with school leadership and staff.
