The teacher will deliver structured violin lessons to learners of varying ages and skill levels, focusing on technique, musical expression, and performance readiness. Daily tasks include preparing lesson plans, teaching individual and group classes, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback. The role involves introducing and reinforcing music theory concepts, organizing practice schedules, and preparing students for recitals, exams, and performances. The teacher will collaborate with colleagues, maintain organized records of student achievements, and help create a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment that aligns with Yamaha Music School's professional standards.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong skills in Music Theory and general Music knowledge to support structured and informed instruction.Candidates should possess advanced Music Performance skills on the violin, with the ability to demonstrate techniques and repertoire confidently.Candidates should possess skills in Music Education, including lesson planning, student assessment, and age-appropriate teaching methods.Candidates should ideally possess additional instrumental skills, such as Piano, to support ear training, accompaniment, and broader musical development.Formal education in Music (e.g., diploma or degree in Music, Music Education) is a must.Prior experience teaching violin in individual and group settings, preferably in a school, studio, or academy environment.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work respectfully with students from diverse backgrounds.Ability to manage time effectively, maintain discipline in the classroom, and support students in achieving their learning goals.Familiarity with performance preparation, including recital organization and examination requirements, is an advantage.
