MYP & DP - English Teacher

Job Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging English Language and Literature lessons for MYP and/or DP students in accordance with the IB curriculum.Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking, listening, critical thinking, and analytical skills.Design inquiry-based and student-centered learning experiences that promote creativity, reflection, and independent learning.Prepare lesson plans, learning resources, assignments, projects, and assessments aligned with MYP/DP programme requirements.Assess student progress through formative and summative assessments and provide constructive, timely feedback.Collaborate with the MYP/DP Coordinator and academic team on curriculum planning, assessment, interdisciplinary learning, and student development.Contribute to the residential school environment, including co-curricular activities, pastoral support, student supervision, and other school programmes.Additional Requirement Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English, English Literature, or a related discipline.B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification is preferred.Minimum 3 years of teaching experience in a reputed English-medium school.Experience teaching IB MYP and/or DP English will be strongly preferred.Candidates with Cambridge IGCSE/A Level English teaching experience will also be considered favorably.Excellent command of spoken and written English.Strong knowledge of English language, literature, grammar, composition, and literary analysis.Job location Maona, Gazipur, Bangladesh
