National Service Graduate - Junior Developer / Product Engineer

AfriSAF is building sustainable feedstock supply chains in Africa, supported by Verifeed, our digital platform for traceability, monitoring, certification, and supply chain risk management. We seek graduate developers to join and support our technical team as we build and scale the platform. The role can be backend, frontend, QA or full-stack depending on the person’s strengths. What matters most is the right mindset, values, and ability to learn. What we are looking for We seek to hire 2 to 3 NSP’s who are open-minded, curious, hard-working, and able to understand complex topics. Verifeed is not just a technical product: it connects agriculture, sustainability, certification, geospatial data, operations, and business needs. The right person should be able to think beyond code and understand why we are building each feature. Key responsibilities ● Build and improve features for the Verifeed platform. ● Work on backend, frontend, or full-stack development depending on your profile. ● Understand business and operational needs, then translate them into practical technical solutions. ● Collaborate openly with the team, ask questions, and communicate clearly. ● Help solve technical and product problems in a structured way. ● Learn quickly about new topics such as traceability, certification, geospatial monitoring, and sustainable supply chains. ● Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code. ● Take ownership of tasks and deliver with reliability. Technical profile The ideal person may have experience in one or more of the following areas: ● Backend development ● Frontend development ● Full-stack development ● APIs and databases ● Web applications ● Cloud deployment ● Data, maps, or geospatial tools ● AI-assisted development or automation A strong attitude, ability to learn, and alignment with our mission are more important than a specific CV profile.
