The Siemens Energy brand is licensed by Siemens AG.Role Description This full-time hybrid role as NDT Technician Level II / Turbine Technician Component is based in Dammam, with the flexibility for some work-from-home tasks as business needs allow. In this role, the technician will perform non-destructive testing (NDT) on turbine components, including setup, calibration, and execution of inspection procedures to identify defects, corrosion, and structural issues. Daily responsibilities include interpreting test results, documenting findings in accordance with quality standards, and supporting maintenance and repair decisions for rotating equipment and related components. The technician will collaborate with engineering and quality teams, follow safety and regulatory requirements, and assist in continuous improvement of inspection processes and procedures. The role may also involve occasional on-site support at customer facilities and participation in training or certification updates.Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in non-destructive testing methods such as Eddy Current and Ultrasonics, with valid Level II certifications or equivalent training.Experience in Inspection and Quality Control of turbine or rotating equipment components, including accurate documentation and reporting of findings.Knowledge of Corrosion mechanisms and degradation in metallic components, with ability to assess condition and recommend appropriate actions.Understanding of energy or power generation industry standards, preferably with exposure to gas or steam turbines.Technical diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience in NDT and turbine maintenance.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and NDT procedures, and to work safely in workshop and plant environments.Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams in a hybrid work setting.Good written and verbal communication skills in English; additional language skills are an advantage.Willingness to pursue ongoing professional development and maintain required NDT certifications.
