Internationally certified consultants design comprehensive OHS programs, establish safety departments, and ensure compliance through auditing against OHS standards, offering practical and industry-relevant expertise to learners.Role Description The NEBOSH GIC/IGC Trainer (English) | HSE Instructor is a contract, remote role responsible for delivering high-quality NEBOSH General Certificate training and related HSE courses in English. Day-to-day tasks include preparing lesson plans and course materials aligned with NEBOSH requirements, delivering interactive virtual lectures and workshops, and facilitating discussions that link theory to real-world safety practice. The instructor will assess learner performance through assignments, exams, and feedback sessions, while maintaining accurate training records and reports. The role also involves updating course content to reflect current OHS legislation, standards, and best practices, supporting learners with questions and exam preparation, and collaborating with CWD’s training team to ensure consistent quality across programs.Qualifications Strong expertise in Occupational Health and Safety, with in-depth knowledge of NEBOSH GIC/IGC syllabus, OHS standards, and applicable regulations.Proven experience in adult training or instruction, including lesson planning, course delivery, learner engagement, and assessment.Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex safety concepts clearly to diverse audiences.Comfort with remote teaching tools and digital platforms (e.g., video conferencing, LMS, online exams), and basic proficiency in standard office software.NEBOSH IGC/GIC certification or equivalent recognized HSE qualification; additional OHS certifications (e.g., ISO 45001, IOSH) are an advantage.Demonstrated ability to tailor training to different industries and experience levels, with a learner-centered and inclusive teaching approach.Strong organizational and time management skills, with reliability in meeting training schedules, reporting requirements, and contract commitments.Experience in safety audits, risk assessment, incident investigation, or establishing safety management systems is highly beneficial.
