.NET Back-end Tech Lead

Ondato is a leading provider of identity verification, compliance, and KYC solutions, helping businesses streamline onboarding processes and stay ahead in a rapidly evolving regulatory landscape.We are looking for a .NET Back-end Tech Lead to join our software development team and take technical ownership of our back-end solutions. You will work hands-on with the team while driving technical decisions, architecture, engineering standards, and the long-term scalability of our platforms.What You Will Do• Take technical ownership of back-end development and help shape the technical direction of our products.• Design, evolve, and improve scalable and reliable back-end architecture.• Make and drive key architectural and technical decisions together with the engineering team.• Stay hands-on with development and contribute high-quality, reusable, and testable code.• Lead by example through code reviews, engineering best practices, and high standards for code quality.• Guide and mentor developers, helping the team solve complex technical challenges and grow technically.• Improve the performance, reliability, observability, and scalability of our services.• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and other stakeholders to turn business needs into effective technical solutions.• Identify technical risks and proactively drive improvements to our platform and development practices.What We Are Looking For• Strong professional experience with .NET / .NET Core and back-end development.• Proven experience designing and building scalable, production-grade back-end systems.• Strong understanding of software architecture, distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architecture.• Experience making architectural decisions and taking ownership of technical solutions from design to production.• Experience with Azure Cloud, Kubernetes, and containerized environments.• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, testing practices, code quality, and maintainability.• Experience mentoring developers, leading technical discussions, and performing code reviews.• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make pragmatic technical decisions.• Open-minded, collaborative, and proactive approach.What We Offer• Work with a talented, mission-driven team, shaping the future of digital identity.• Monthly salary from 6700 to 8000 EUR gross, depending on your skills and experience.• A hybrid working model to support flexibility and a healthy work-life balance.• Private health insurance to give you peace of mind for all your health needs.• An extra paid day off every month to help you recharge.• One-off financial support for significant personal life events.• Company-wide and team events that bring everyone together.Get in touch for more information and grab this opportunity to take technical ownership and help shape the future of Ondato’s technology.
