One of the world's biggest suppliers of them is growing fast, and the software behind that growth is built in house by a global engineering team most people don't know exists.They're hiring a Technical Lead to shape what that team builds next.This isn't a ticket-closing role. You'll own the design. You'll make the calls, then stand in front of the Architecture Review Board and defend them. You'll be the person a distributed Agile team looks to when a problem gets hard. And you'll lead the team's move to AI-assisted engineering in practice, not as a slide in a strategy deck.What you'll be doingLeading design and technical delivery of custom software for the aerospace businessTurning business problems into scalable, secure solutions with architects, product owners and senior stakeholdersPresenting and defending designs at Architecture Review Board levelSetting the bar on code quality, including validating AI-generated codeBuilding real observability across services: logging, metrics, tracingMentoring developers on architecture, design patterns and engineering disciplineWorking with teams across multiple locations and time zonesWhat you'll bring8+ years building with .NET and C#, including at least 2 years as a Technical Lead or equivalentASP.NET Core, REST APIs and microservices architectureSQL Server and Entity Framework Core, with solid database designAngular and TypeScript on the front endMicrosoft Azure: App Services, Functions, Storage, Application InsightsCI/CD with Azure DevOpsSecure authentication: Azure AD, OAuth 2.0, JWTHands-on use of AI development tools, and a clear view on where they help and where they don'tBonus points for AWS, Power BI, enterprise integrations or .NET MAUI.
