Apply & track with Apply EdgeTo own the network, server and endpoint infrastructure and to deliver end-user support across the business — keeping systems available and secure, and ensuring users receive prompt, reliable assistance.ResponsibilitiesProvide first and second-line support to all users — logging, triage, resolution and closure within agreed service levelsAdminister and maintain the LAN, switching and wireless network, including performance and coverageOperate and maintain firewalls, remote access and VPN services under approved change controlAdminister Windows servers — monitoring, patching, updates, capacity and routine housekeepingMonitor backups and carry out scheduled restore testing with documented evidenceAdminister Microsoft 365 — users, groups, licenses, Exchange, Teams and SharePointExecute joiner, mover and leaver processes, access provisioning and revocation, and access-review evidenceSupport endpoints and peripherals — laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, mobile and handheld devices, and meeting-room equipmentMaintain the IT asset and license register, inventory and procurement recordsMaintain patch compliance, endpoint protection and credential hygieneMaintain network documentation, including structured cabling and configuration recordsParticipate in an out-of-hours support rosterQualifications2 to 3 years in network and infrastructure administration with hands-on end-user supportCCNA or equivalent, with practical switching and wireless experience (Cisco, Aruba or equivalent)Enterprise firewall administration (Fortinet or equivalent), including VPN and remote accessLAN and WAN troubleshooting, with working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS and DHCPWindows Server and Active Directory — users, groups, Group Policy and permissionsMicrosoft 365 administration — Exchange, Teams, SharePoint and licensingBackup operations and documented restore testingPatch management and endpoint protection administrationStrong service orientation, patience with non-technical users, and disciplined documentationWillingness to participate in an out-of-hours support rosterStrong spoken and written English
