Network & IT Support Specialist

About the Role:We are a Saudi-based investment company seeking a reliable and proactive Network & IT Support Specialist to take ownership of our internal IT systems. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for keeping our small-scale infrastructure secure, stable, and efficient — supporting both the server room and employees' day-to-day needs.You will work closely with the IT Manager and external service providers when needed, but most tasks will be performed independently in-house.Key Responsibility: ·       Install, configure, and maintain our Windows Server environment, including regular updates, user management, and system security.·       Administer and support Active Directory for account setup, access control, and group policies.·       Manage backup routines using an immutable backup setup and perform regular recovery tests to ensure data protection.·       Support and manage Microsoft Office 365 tools, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams.·       Handle user provisioning, licensing, and access policies using Microsoft 365 Admin Center and Azure AD.·       Troubleshoot Office 365 issues and provide basic training/support to employees as needed.·       Maintain and support our network infrastructure: firewalls, switches, wireless access points, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and VPN tunnels.·       Monitor and maintain the physical server room setup, including UPS, cooling, rack equipment, and cabling.·       Coordinate with external vendors when necessary for firmware upgrades or technical escalations.·       Provide general IT support to staff, including laptops setup, troubleshooting, software installation, and hardware purchasing.·       Manage and support CCTV systems, IP telephony (Grandstream PBX), and access control devices (BioStar).·       Help ensure basic IT security hygiene and assist in following internal data protection guidelines.Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. - 3–5 years of experience in IT support or system/network administration. - Solid hands-on experience with:  • Microsoft 365 (user management, licensing, Exchange, Teams)  • Windows Server and Active Directory  • Networking: firewalls, switches, VLANs, DNS/DHCP  • Backup systems and troubleshooting  • Familiarity with IP telephony, CCTV, and access control hardware  • Experience with Aruba, Fortinet, Grand stream, or similar platforms  • Certifications such as Microsoft 365 Associate, Fortinet NSE, or CompTIA Network+/Security+Location: RiyadhEmployment Type: Full-time, On-site
