It also involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, mentoring junior engineers, and driving adoption of modern frameworks such as Zero Trust, automation, and cloud-native security solutions.

Responsibilities

Design and build Geidea networks & Security while taking into consideration factors like, bandwidth requirements, infrastructure requirements and security.Participate in the implementation of network & Security designs and ensure solutions are meeting the requirements.Lead network & Security modelling through using the information on existing network traffic and estimating the growth of the network.Focus on the effects of new equipment on network & security performance and provide recommendations to ensure accurate upgrading of the network.Ensure security equipment are installed at the precise network locations.Manage and monitor the network & Security system and make necessary adjustments and minor repairs to ensure smooth operation of the systems.Lead and follow up on the system network & Security scheduled maintenance to avoid any down time due to networking issues.Maintain a proper record of designed networks including network drawings, text descriptions and equipment configuration to ensure smooth resolution of potential future issues.Review and approve changes in Geidea infrastructure from network and security point of view.Must have technical/professional qualifications:12+ Years of experience, with minimum 5 years as a leadBachelor’s degree in IT or engineeringExperience in Network, operations, security, projects, design, architectureCCIE security or routing and switchingExperience in firewalls Fortinet & Palo Alto, F5Fin-tech background is preferredExperience in telecom provider connectivity and technologiesOur values guide how we think and act - They describe what we care about the mostCustomer first - It’s embedded in our design thinking and customer service approachOpen - Openness allows us to constantly improve and evolveReal - No jargon and no excuses!Bold - Constantly challenging ourselves and our way of thinkingResilient – If we fail, we bounce back stronger than beforeCollaborative - We know that we can achieve a lot more as a teamWe are changing lives by constantly striving for a better solutionClick apply below and become part of the Geidea story
