Network & Security EngineerKey ResponsibilitiesFirewall & Security OperationsConfigure, manage, and troubleshoot FortiGate firewalls, including policies, routing, and VPNs.Implement and support Palo Alto firewalls, covering security policies, NAT, VPNs, and threat prevention features.Configure, manage, and troubleshoot F5 WAF/LTMConfigure, manage, and troubleshoot OCI InfrastructureMonitor firewall logs and security events and support incident response activities.Network Access & WirelessAdminister Cisco ISE for network access control, authentication, and policy enforcement.Manage Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC) and wireless infrastructure to ensure secure and reliable connectivity.Routing & SwitchingConfigure, operate, and troubleshoot Cisco routing and switching environments, including VLANs, routing protocols, and ACLs.Support network availability, redundancy, and performance optimization.Operations & MonitoringPerform daily network and security operations, including health checks and routine maintenance.Monitor network performance and security events using approved monitoring tools.Troubleshoot network and security incidents and perform root cause analysis.Change, Security & ComplianceFollow established change management, security, and operational procedures.Support security hardening, patching, and vulnerability remediation activities.Work in coordination with senior engineers, IT operations, and cybersecurity teams.Documentation & ReportingPrepare and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and network diagrams.Produce incident reports, change records, and operational status updates as required.Required QualificationsTechnical SkillsHands-on experience with FortiGate and Palo Alto firewalls.Hands-on experience with F5 WAF/LTMHands-on experience with OCI InfrastructureExperience administering Cisco ISE and Cisco WLC.Solid understanding of Cisco routing and switching concepts (VLANs, routing, ACLs).Familiarity with network monitoring, incident handling, and security operations.Professional SkillsStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills.Ability to work in production environments with minimal supervision.Good documentation and communication skills.Certifications (Preferred)CCNA / CCNP (Enterprise or Security)Fortinet NSEPalo Alto (PCNSA / PCNSE)
